I walked over to the OCBC headquarters building on Chulia street here in Singapore early this morning with my DSLR and tripod and made some images of the large bronze 'reclining figure' by Henry Moore. I have photographed this installation a couple times before, but this was the first time with the 5DMk2 and I decided that it would be fun to do a lowlight image at this spot.
I made about 22 images and selected 2 to edit and post. My 'in-house' creative director (i.e., aka my spouse, Hideko) suggested that the vertical version of the front view was the most pleasing, and I decided to follow her advice. I went with a horizontal version of the rear view, however. I also concluded that the color versions look better than the black & white, so color it is. The sky was just beginning to lighten in the east by the time I framed up the second of these two images.
These two are both single images, not multiple exposure combined into an HDR.
