I had a bit of a surprise this morning on my walk through the Esplanade Park in Singapore. I am not normally looking for images to photograph inside of freeway underpasses (not even in Singapore, which is a very clean city), but this morning an interesting shadow pattern cast on the curved concrete caught my eye. After a moment of indecision I decided to walk closer and compose a few photos. Attached is the one I decided to edit in Lightroom 2.2 and then process in PS4 using Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro. The original image was already mostly monochromatic, but I find the ability to easily select from a wide range of B&W film effects in Silver Efex are compelling (in this case 'pull N-1').
