Clear Skies Return to Singapore

We woke to wonderfully clear skies here in Singapore yesterday morning, which is a most welcome relief following the terrible haze that wafted over from the burning in Sumatra off and on over the last two weeks. During the worst of it, the 3-hour PSI hit 401, and as I write this, it has come down to 18. Even better, for the first time in a long time, I don’t even see any tinge of brown along the horizon.

Attached are two images to document the improvement: the first in the warm morning light of Saturday looking toward the cargo port, and the second from this afternoon, of the clouds above the Marina Bay Sands.
