The air here in Singapore has been very smoky since about mid-week, and was especially so on April 18, when I captured this image from my veranda (Canon 7D + 200mm f/2.8). News reports explained this morning that the recent haze is from fires in the Indonesian province of Riau on the island of Sumatra.
